Reviews describe the house as spotless, with exceptionally clean rooms.

Waitrose is a 5-minute walk away, useful for picking up supplies.

Cons

Breakfast is not included in the room rate and costs extra.

One Double or Twin Room review notes a shared bathroom rather than a private one.

“The house sits in a sublime setting, a broad vista of the English countryside unfolding from its elevated position. Inside, the rooms are spacious and consistently warm, a fine continental breakfast often starting the day. It truly feels removed from the everyday bustle, yet the convenience of Thatcham and Newbury is only minutes away.”
